UIM President, Tan Sri Prof. Dr. Mohd. Yusof Noor and Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Islamic, Badlisyah Abdul Ghani signed two documents of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the official opening of the International Convention on Wisdom (ICW) here at Cyberjaya, this morning. The ceremony was witnessed by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, YB Mejar Jeneral (B) Dato’ Sri Jamil Khir bin Baharom.
The first MoU is signed to establish CIMB Islamic–UIM’s “Chair for Waqf and Islamic Finance Management Studies.” It aims to provide research leadership in areas that will complement both parties in existing research works with specific interest in the role of Islamic Finance and Waqf management.
